Coronavirus (COVID-19) Announcement

By March 14, 2020 December 2nd, 2020 No Comments

Dear Clients,

First and foremost the staff at Tall Grass Animal Hospital want to thank everyone for their understanding and cooperation during these difficult times. We are still curbside for service and with the increase in cases we will remain this way for the foreseeable future to protect our clients and our team as recommended by Tri County Health. If it is time to say goodbye to your baby we will bring you into the building to be with them, but at this time we ask that no other clients enter the building unless requested by and escorted by a staff member.

Please call us when you arrive for medication pickups or your appointment at 720-420-9922 and remain in your vehicle until the staff is ready to assist you. This will help us to prevent too many clients waiting at the front of the building where it is difficult to enforce social distancing. When you do come to the front door, we do request that you wear a mask and wait outside for a staff member.

We will also require that you stay in the parking lot for the entirety of your visit, just as you would stay in the room if you were here. If you do leave or the doctors/staff are unable to get in touch with you to check you out and send your baby home, we will assess an additional $35 boarding fee for the setup and cleaning of a kennel to house your baby.

We are a small practice and doing our best to serve all of you in a timely manner and remaining here for the duration of your visit will ensure that we can do our best to get to everyone as close to their scheduled time as possible.

We do require payment in full at time of service for medication pickups, surgeries, labs and ultrasounds, vaccinations and end of life care. To keep you and our staff safe we are taking payments over the phone and emailing a receipt at this time. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns, or if you do need a printed copy we can provide that at your request.

If you are having any symptoms of COVID, including:

  • Fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, Headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea

We will ask that you reschedule your visit until you have been without symptoms for 10 days. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe!
